Transferring Assets Between Devices with iTunes

When you create and import assets, they are stored on the device itself. If you open Switcher Studio on another iOS device, your assets will not automatically transfer. The easiest way to get assets onto another device is to use Switcher Cloud.

To transfer assets between devices with iTunes:

• Open iTunes on the computer.

• Plug the iOS device with the existing assets into a computer with iTunes.

• Click on your iOS device icon to load it in iTunes.

• Click File Sharing.

• Click Switcher.

• Select the files that you would like to transfer.

  • Live-text graphics are .mmart files, images are either .jpg or .png, and videos are either .mov or .mp4.

• Drag the files into a folder on your computer.

  • We suggest making a new folder on your desktop specifically for Switcher Studio files.

• Plug the new iOS device into the computer.

• Click on your iOS device icon to load it in iTunes.

• Click File Sharing.

• Click Switcher.

• Drag the files from your computer into the Switcher folder in iTunes.
