Using Center Stage with Switcher Studio

The Center Stage feature uses the front-facing camera (Ultra Wide lens) to automatically keep the person (or people) on camera in frame. As the person moves around, the camera pans to follow them.

Center Stage is a feature available on the M1 iPad Pros:

• 11-inch iPad Pro (3rd generation and later)

• 12.9 inch iPad Pro (5th generation and later)

• iPad Mini 6

To enable Center Stage: While using video in the Switcher Studio app,

• Open the Switcher app.

• Swipe down from the top-right edge of your iPad.

• Tap Video Effects.

• Tap Center Stage.

  • Now when using your front-facing camera, the subject will be kept in frame.
