When connecting iOS devices as cameras in Switcher Studio, you can choose which camera lens to use, including the front-facing / selfie camera. A lot of other camera and video apps, mirror the image when using the front-facing / selfie camera, meaning it flips the image horizontally. If there is text in the photo, the text cannot be read. Here is an example of a selfie photo with the image mirrored using the native Camera app on an iPad:
As you can see in the above photo, if you are using a program that mirrors the image, your audience will not be able to read the text on products or other items you show.
To prevent that issue, Switcher Studio automatically flips the image when you are using the front-facing camera, so your audience will see the text correctly. Here is the same item, using the front-facing / selfie camera on the iPad running Switcher Studio:
