If you are streaming using one of Switcher Studio's integrations (Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitch) or streaming using Custom RTMP, you can see audience comments directly in the Switcher Studio app in the Live Comments tab. Viewing comments in the app allows you to respond to comments without having to use another device.

To engage with your audience even more, you can highlight comments onscreen during the broadcast. Instead of simply reading comments, you can show them as part of your stream. Displaying comments is an easy way to increase interaction with your audience and to encourage people to participate in the conversation.

Note: When using an iPhone as the main switcher device, it must be in vertical mode to access Live Comments.

  • At the bottom of the Live Comments pane, there will be text that says "Connected to <platform>" followed by the name of the stream.

  • As audience members comment, they will appear in chronological order, with the oldest comments on top and the newest comments at the bottom.

Note: There is a very slight delay between when the original comment is posted on the stream, and when it appears in the app.
