As of March 18, 2020, the Switcher Studio team is implementing several temporary product updates to help accommodate the ever increasing needs for video communication / broadcasting as a result of COVID-19. These updates will be active for all paid users through June 30, 2020. Currently, we plan to rollback the updates at that time.
Unlimited Video Chat Hours on All Plans that Include Video Chat
We've removed the time restrictions for video chat, so all plans that already include Video Chat now have unlimited hours. The allowable number of guests will remain the same, as follows:
Essentials (previously Personal) plan: Host + 1 guest
Standard (previously Professional) plan: Host + 2 guests
Plus plan: Host + 4 guests

Custom RTMP Setup in the Switcher Dashboard Available on All Plans
Custom RTMP is useful if you want to stream to a platform or service that doesn't have a native Switcher integration. This temporary update enables all users to set up and manage custom RTMP channels in the Switcher Studio online Dashboard. That means you can use any internet-connected device, instead of having to set it up directly in the Switcher app.
Many people find it easier to set up Custom RTMP in the Dashboard because they can use a computer to do it, and copy + paste the RTMP parameters.
Previously, Custom RTMP setup in the Switcher Dashboard was limited to our higher-tier plans. Now users on all plans have access to this feature.
