Switcher Studio makes it easy to display the name and title of anyone on screen. To create a name tag for anyone who will speak during your livestream:

  1. Open Switcher Studio from the primary iOS device that you’ll use to run Switcher during your video.
  2. Tap Use as Switcher.
  3. Tap the + button.
  4. Tap Text & Graphics.
  5. Tap Lower Thirds.
  6. Select a built-in template you like best.
  7. Adjust the text, color, and settings as needed.
  8. Tap Done.

Duplicating your name tags

To use the same settings for additional name tags, simply duplicate the previously created asset:

  1. From the main Sources panel, tap and hold the recently created asset.
  2. Tap Duplicate.
  3. Tap and hold the duplicated graphic.
  4. Tap Edit.
  5. Change the text.
  6. Tap Done.

Adding & removing your name tags during your livestream

The name tags you created will appear in the Switcher Studio Sources panel. When you want to display a person’s name, simply tap the text asset. It will appear on top of the camera angle that’s being displayed. To remove it, tap the text asset in the Sources panel again.
