Broadcasting to LinkedIn Live is only available for a limited number of members and organizations that have applied for and been granted access by LinkedIn. If you do not already have access, you can complete a short application to request access to LinkedIn Live from the LinkedIn team.
How to Know if you Have Been Approved to Stream
LinkedIn will send you a confirmation email once you've been approved for access. Additionally, a LinkedIn Live badge will appear on your LinkedIn profile when your access has been fully activated.
You can also check the status of your LinkedIn Live access directly within Switcher Studio:
Tap LinkedIn Live in the Outputs tab
Select your organization from the drop-down menu.
If you do not have access, you will see a message confirming that information.
If you do have access, you will see the options to set up your stream.
Occasionally, LinkedIn will send out your LinkedIn Live approval email before the live broadcasting component is fully activated on your LinkedIn account. Despite what the email says, you cannot go live to your LinkedIn account until your Live component is completely activated. If you have received an approval email from LinkedIn but do not see this badge on your profile, please wait up to 48 hours for the badge to appear. After that, please contact LinkedIn's Support via their Help Center.
