For a video tutorial, scroll to the bottom of this page.

To start this process, open Switcher, and tap on the blue plus icon to bring up the Assets menu.

If you are bringing in an asset from the Photos app, tap on all photos to bring up your photographs.

Now, scroll through and select which image you want to bring in. Once you do, you will get a screen with three options:

  • Use As Image
  • Use As Lower-Third
  • Use As Corner Bug

When choosing “Use as Image,” the image will be brought in as a full-screen image.

Choosing “Use As Lower-Third” will automatically resize your image to the bottom of the screen, as you would normally see a lower-third. You can still move the image around from this screen. This image will be used as an overlay, allowing you to place it on top of other sources.

Choosing “Use As Corner Bug” will resize the image to the bottom-right corner. Like the “Use As Lower-Third” option, you will be able to resize the image by pinching your fingers in and out, as well as to drag the image around the screen to place it where you want it. The Corner Bug is also an overlay that is able to be placed on top of other sources.

Tapping done in the upper-right corner will put the image into your sources list.

Tapping on the source in your source list will send it to the Live window.
