Updating The Displayed Thumbnail For Video Library Videos

When uploading videos into your Video Library, a random frame from the video will automatically be selected as the thumbnail. You can keep this thumbnail, choose to Take A Photo (in real time!), select a new Video Frame from your stream to use as the thumbnail, or choose a custom image from your device's Camera Roll. This change will take place immediately!

In the Switcher app, go to the Local Recordings tab. Tap on the video whose thumbnail you'd like to edit, and then tap on the orange "Upload To Video Library" button.

You'll be taken to the Upload Video tab. Here, you can update the Title, the Description, and the Thumbnail, as well as choosing whether or not to add the video to your Video Catalog, add it to a Collection, or include a link on your Player.

To update the Thumbnail, tap on the Thumbnail icon. A pop-up menu appears, where you can choose to Take A Photo (in real time!), select a new Video Frame from your stream to use as the thumbnail, or choose a custom image from your device's Camera Roll.

Once you've selected one of these three options and chosen your new Thumbnail image, tap on the orange "Upload" button at the bottom of the window to complete the update!
