Creating A Gated Content Livestream With Switcher

In order to make a livestream available with Gated Content, you will first need to create the Pass you will want to use for your livestream. To learn how to create a Pass, read How To Create A One-Time Pass.

To create a Gated Content livestream:

• Open the Switcher app.
• Tap the Outputs tab. (box and arrow icon)
• Tap on the orange “Create” button to create a new stream
• Tap the toggle for Video Catalog, so that it turns green.
• Tap on the "Add To Collections" dropdown menu to automatically add this stream to your Collection(s) <- this is mandatory for Gated Content!!
• Tap the orange "Next" button at the bottom of the window.

• Use the grey menu at the top to choose your Scheduling preference: "Go Live Now" or "Schedule For Later".
• Enter the stream's Title and Description
• Tap on the grey dropdown beside Stream Quality to run a Speed Test, which will automatically pick the best setting for your current networking conditions.

• Tap on the (i) icon beside "Video Catalog" to open the Video Catalog window
• One-Time Pass is selected by default. Select your desired Pass, or swap to a Subscription option
• Optional: If you are using the Cartr app for Live Shopping, you can connect this here!
• Tap "Done" in the top-right corner.
• You'll be taken back to the "Event Details" menu. Tap the orange "Create Event" button at the bottom of the window.

When you're ready to go live, tap on the big red button in the top-right corner of the Switcher app!
