How to Use Multiple Switcher Players

Business, Plus, and Merchant plan subscribers have the ability to create multiple Switcher Players, allowing tailored video content based on the specific website or landing page each Switcher Player is embedded on. Switcher Players utilize the videos in the Video Library, allowing users to mix and match what content they would like to be displayed on each Switcher Player.

Creating a New Switcher Player

By default, one Switcher Player is already created for qualifying accounts. Each new player will generate it's own unique embed code. To create additional Switcher Players, follow the steps below.

To create a new Switcher Player:

• Go to the Switcher Studio Dashboard.
• Click Switcher Players in the left sidebar.
• Click Create Player.
• Enter the name and description.
• Click Create.

Adding Videos to a New Switcher Player

Once you have created your new Switcher Player, you can select videos from your Video Library to add to the Switcher Player playlist. If you have videos you would like to add to the Switcher Player that are not yet uploaded into the Video Library, you can check out Uploading Videos to the Video Library to get started.

To add videos to a new Switcher Player:

• From the Switcher Players page, click the Switcher Player you would like to use.
• Click Playlist in the Player Settings section.
• Click Add Video(s).
• Click to select each video you would like to add.

• Click Add to Playlists.

  

Accessing the New Switcher Player Embed Code

Once you have the new Switcher Player playlist configured, you can copy the embed code to paste it into your website builder. Once the changes have been saved on your website, the Switcher Player will be visible to visitors.

To access the new Switcher Player embed code:

• From the Switcher Players page, click the Switcher Player you would like to use.
• Click Copy Embed Code from the Embed Code section.

Deleting a Switcher Player

You can delete any Switcher Player that you are no longer using. Deleting a Switcher Player does not delete the associated videos from your Video Library. Before deleting a Switcher Player, be sure to remove the associated embed code from any live webpages.

To delete a Switcher Player:

• From the Switcher Players page, click the Switcher Player you would like to delete.
• Click the ellipses (three dots) in the top-right corner.
• Click Delete.

Note: Deleting a Switcher Player does not remove the associated videos from the Video Library.
