Changing Your Switcher Username (Email Address)

Changing the email address associated with your Switcher Studio account can be accomplished quickly within the Switcher Dashboard.

To change your Switcher Studio username:

  • Scroll down to the Profile section
  • Update the email address field, along with any other desired fields
    • NOTE: You can ONLY update to email addresses never before registered with Switcher, even if they only used a trial!
  • Click the orange Update Profile button at the bottom of the window.


Troubleshooting Errors When Changing Your Email Address

Your New Email Address Was Registered In The Past

Please note that the email address that you enter must be an account that is not already registered as a Switcher Studio account (as in it has not been used for a Trial or a subscription in the past). If you try to enter in an email address that has already been registered for any reason in the past, you will receive an error message when trying to hit save.

Enter in a different email address that has never been registered for a Switcher Studio account in the past, and you'll be all set!

Your New Email Address Uses A Custom Domain

We use an email security tool to validate the legitimacy of email addresses. Unfortunately, it's possible that valid email addresses can be flagged as risky, especially for custom domains. If you receive an error message about the new email address being invalid, we recommend asking for your email domain to be whitelisted in our system.

There are two ways to make this request:

  1. Recommended: Message the support team using the messenger widget while logged into the Switcher Studio Dashboard or the iOS app. To get to the messenger widget in the app, tap the Help bubble icon on the homescreen.

  2. Send an email to support@switcherstudio.com from the email address you use for your Switcher Studio account, that contains the domain that needs whitelisting.
