Viewing and Editing a Video Clip

Clips are stored with the original Switcher Studio recording. You can preview or edit them at any time.

Accessing / Viewing a Clip

  • Open the Switcher app.
  • Use the dropdown menu to change from Video Library to Local Recordings.
  • Tap the recording you would like to view.
  • Tap the play icon.

Renaming a Clip

  • Open the Switcher app.
  • Use the dropdown menu to change from Video Library to Local Recordings.
  • Tap the recording you would like to view.
  • Tap the ellipsis. (three dots)
  • Tap Rename.
  • Enter the new name.
  • Tap Done.

Editing a Clip

  • Open the Switcher app.
  • Use the dropdown menu to change from Video Library to Local Recordings.
  • Tap the recording you would like to view.
  • Tap the ellipsis. (three dots)
  • Tap Start Clipping.

  • To adjust the start/end time, playback speed, or audio, tap Adjust.

    • Adjust the settings as needed.

  • To adjust the aspect ratio and framing options, tap Format.

    • Adjust the settings as needed.

  • To add or edit a progress bar, title, or image, tap Layers.

    • Adjust the settings as needed.

  • Be sure to tap Save at the bottom of the Adjust, Format, and Layers windows if you make any changes.

  • Tap Create in the top right corner to save.

  • The changes will override the previous version of the clip.
