Streaming To Twitch With The Switcher App

Switcher's Twitch integration allows you to stream to Twitch with only a few taps. This article provides options and step-by-step instructions for each step.

In this article:

Linking Your Twitch Account To Switcher

In order to use the Twitch integration, you will need to link your Twitch account to Switcher.

  • Open the Switcher app on iPad, iPhone, or Mac, and sign into your account. This designates this device as the main switching device.

  • Tap on "Go Live".

  • You'll automatically be in the Outputs tab. Tap on the orange "New Livestream" button.

  • Tap on the Twitch icon.

  • Tap the orange "Connect Account" button. Sign in with your Twitch username and password.

  • You will receive an SMS text message to the phone number linked to your Twitch account. This phone number was chosen when you created your Twitch account originally on twitch.tv and is not determined by Switcher.

  • Type the code provided via SMS text message into the Token box.

  • Tap the orange "Continue" button.

Note: The Twitch linking authorization expires every 30 days. You will simply need to follow the above steps to relink. This is a characteristic of Twitch and unrelated to Switcher.
